Reading has always been a pleasure for me, in discovering not only the content of books, but also the life and existence of their authors. The history and particular details of each writer's life have always fascinated me and preceded the very act of reading the books they published. For me, it was truly important to know in advance what led to and in a certain way conditioned the act of writing of each writer I discovered. That is exactly what I sought to convey, from a very personal perspective, in this painting collection that I named “Os Meus Escritores”, precisely because it seeks to reflect my very personal, and I would even say narcissistic, vision of each of them and of the literary works they left us.
