Copyright and removal requests

How we handle third-party content

Facts are not protected by copyright: the date, time, location, and price of an event are information that anyone can publish. That is what we collect.

Descriptive texts are another matter. We rewrite descriptions in our own words instead of copying the source's prose, and each page shows the origin of the information so you can confirm it in the original.

We do not import third-party images. If an event has no image of its own, it has no image — we prefer that to using unauthorized material.

If something of yours is here and should not be

Write to [email protected] with the subject "Removal". To process the request quickly, include:

1. the exact link to the page in question;
2. what material you consider yours and where it was originally published;
3. in what capacity you act (owner, representative, other);
4. a contact for reply.

We confirm receipt within two business days. If the request is clear, we remove or rewrite the content while we analyze it — removing first and discussing later seems to us the right side to err on.

If we disagree

We explain why, in writing, and keep the record. We do not remove factual content just because it is inconvenient, nor do we keep protected content just because it is convenient.

Our own content

The site structure, editorial text, and event database are ours. You may link freely to any page. You may not extract the database in bulk or republish it as your own.
