About the event

Guerra e Paz, a title kindly borrowed from the novel by Leo Tolstoy, is a creation by Cátia Pinheiro and José Nunes, with text developed in collaboration with artist and rapper Capicua, conceived for children — but open to all ages. At a time when images of war burst into our lives daily through televisions and smartphones, creating spaces for shared reflection between children and adults becomes urgent. Starting from the ideas of war and peace, the show offers a close look at how we relate, organize, and inhabit the world. Between intimate and collective conflicts, visible and invisible borders, a question arises: how are conflicts in the world we share built — and why do they persist? Accessibility: Performance in Portuguese Sign Language on February 21st.
