With a career spanning several decades and a life entirely dedicated to music, Rodrigo marks his 85th birthday as an unavoidable figure in Portuguese culture and music. This concert pays tribute not only to the performer, but also to the man, to the singular path he has built, to the memories he has left his mark on and to the deep connection he has always maintained with Fado — to its venues, to the musicians who have accompanied him, to the audiences who have acclaimed him and to the Portuguese communities scattered around the world. On this unique night, some of the most prominent names in Fado come together to celebrate the work, the voice and the legacy of Rodrigo, sharing the stage with the artist in a living and heartfelt tribute. Throughout the concert, Rodrigo will perform some of the most emblematic songs from his vast repertoire, in an encounter that will be simultaneously a celebration, a recognition and a testimony to a life dedicated to music.
