Walk - European Day Against Trafficking in Human Beings
About the event
On October 18, a walk to raise awareness about combating trafficking in human beings will take place in Ançã, promoted as part of the European day dedicated to this cause. Under the motto "in the fight against the crime of trafficking in human beings, every step makes a difference!", the initiative aims to alert and sensitize the community to a reality that continues to demand attention and action from everyone. Participants are invited to wear a blue t-shirt and join this walk for prevention and awareness. The meeting point will be at 9:30 AM at Terreiro do Paço. The initiative is organized by the youth group APF - Associação para o Planeamento da Família, within the regional network of the center for support and protection of victims of trafficking in human beings, and has the support of the Junta de Freguesia de Ançã and the Município de Cantanhede.
