Gente da Nossa Terra - Multidisciplinary show of theater, music and literature about Augusto Abelaira

The Academia de Música de Cantanhede hosts, on the 11th of November at 7 p.m., a multidisciplinary show that crosses theater, music and literature, part of the 5th edition of the "Gente da Nossa Terra" cycle, dedicated to the writer Augusto Abelaira, in the year that marks the centenary of his birth. Through the story of a young student who discovers the writer's books in a library, the show proposes a contemporary approach to his work, exploring themes such as freedom, memory and identity, which continue to be relevant today. The presentation combines theatrical scenes inspired by Augusto Abelaira's work with live musical moments, performed by students of the Academia de Música de Cantanhede, providing an artistic experience that brings literature closer to new generations. An opportunity to rediscover Augusto Abelaira's literary legacy through different artistic expressions. Location: Academia de Música de Cantanhede.
