About the event
The opera For All of Us is based on the novel Os Memoráveis (2014), by Lídia Jorge, in which the writer revisits the protagonists and myths of the April 1974 Revolution through the eyes of three young people who, 30 years after the events, seek to understand what those times were like and the impact they had on the society in which they live. With a libretto by João Lourenço and Vera San Payo de Lemos and music by Eurico Carrapatoso, the opera For All of Us will have musical direction by João Paulo Santos, staging by João Lourenço and set design by João Mendes Ribeiro.
