About the event

The forum “Music Now! Musica Nostra!” will take place on November 7 and 8, 2026 at the Palácio Nacional de Mafra. This second edition of the meeting aims to use "music and active listening as catalysts for the protection of living heritage, the promotion of dialogue and the strengthening of European cohesion, also addressing the challenges of climate change." The initiative is organised by the Centre Européen de Musique (CEM) in close collaboration with Europa Nostra, the Municipality of Mafra and the Centro Nacional de Cultura.
