Summer Entertainment - Praias Fluviais das Sete Fontes and Olhos da Fervença - Gaiteiros Rainha Santa

On the next 9th of August, the river beaches of Sete Fontes and Olhos da Fervença host the Gaiteiros Rainha Santa, in a celebration of the music and traditions of the Coimbra region. Recognised for its work in preserving and promoting popular culture, this group is dedicated to performing the traditional Portuguese repertoire, with special emphasis on the Coimbra bagpipe, accompanied by the region's typical percussion. In addition to its artistic activity, it develops training actions and promotes the valorisation of local musical heritage.
