Bairrada “O” Meeting - Ori Trail Rogaine

o clube de aventura da bairrada organizes on September 26th the bairrada "o" meeting, an event that brings to the municipality of cantanhede two important orienteering challenges: the iberian rogaine championship, in an ori trail race, and an urban orienteering race, counting towards the portugal sprint cup. cordinhã will be the center of the iberian rogaine championship, which will take place across several locations in the municipality, on a map with about 42 km2 of area and 25 km of perimeter, marked by the diversity of the terrain and natural elements. the portugal sprint cup will take place in the urban area of the city of cantanhede, challenging participants to find the different control points quickly and accurately. the races are open to all interested parties, from federated athletes to adventure sports lovers and btt practitioners, providing an opportunity to discover the sport and face new challenges with the support of a map. registrations: https://aventurabairrada.wixsite.com/bom26 the initiative is organized in partnership with the cantanhede municipality, cordinhã parish, portuguese orienteering federation and spanish orienteering federation (fedo). and because the experience goes beyond competition, the invitation also extends to discovering the natural, gastronomic and wine potential of the bairrada region.
