The Sleeping Beauty

More than a decade after its last presentation, the ballet The Sleeping Beauty returns to the stage in the acclaimed choreographic version by Ted Brandsen, reaffirming the timelessness of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's great classic. Twenty-eight years after its premiere, this new presentation gains a renewed aesthetic dimension through the vision of renowned artists José Manuel Castanheira, José António Tenente and Nuno Meira, who reinvent set design, costumes and lighting design for a contemporary reading of the work.
