About the event
"The War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1715) was one of the great conflicts of Early Modern Europe, involving the major European powers in the Iberian Peninsula and their overseas domains. The cartographic collection of the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal reveals the impact of the war on map production and its use as an instrument of propaganda by the states involved."
