Cultural Sunday - Play "Quem vâ Caras, não vê Corações", by the Theater Group "Cordinha d´Água"

The recreational, sports and cultural association of Santo Amaro de Quintã, in the parish of Cadima, in the municipality of Cantanhede, presents another edition of its "Cultural Sunday" on the 8th of November at its headquarters. The program consists of a 6-kilometer walk of medium difficulty at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at 1 p.m., whose dish will be feijoada à gandaresa, with a registration cost of 10 euros for members and 11 euros for non-members. At 3 p.m., the space is reserved for theater. The theater group "Cordinha d´Água" will perform the play "Quem vâ Caras, não vê Corações", by Rosa Santos, staged by the same. The play portrays two families, one rich and one poor, showing that, despite the difficulties, it is the humble family that helps the beggars, while the rich remain indifferent… The cast includes Vital Dinis, Manuel Bucete, Rui Ferreira, Gabriel Pinto, Nelson Marques, André Monteiro, Lourenço Marques, Rosa Santos, Manuela Moreira, Cristiana Dinis, Catarina Guímaro, Mariana Figueiredo, Helena Jesus, Joana Monteiro, Licínia Reis and Lorena Marques, assisted by the technical team formed by Rosa Santos, Cristiana Dinis, Joana Monteiro and José Carlos. It should be recalled that in recent years several plays have been presented at the cultural Sundays of the recreational, sports and cultural association of Santo Amaro de Quintã, whose premieres take place previously in the amateur theater cycle of the municipality of Cantanhede. The theater group "Renascer" of the social, recreational and cultural center of Sanguinheira, the theater group of Tocha, the theater group of the cultural and sports association of Casal, the scenic group of Clube União Vilanovense and the scenic group of Esticadinhos have already been present on other occasions. In addition to theater, other sessions of this "Cultural Sunday" project have also been held with other arts, such as live music, cinema, storytelling, among others, in partnership with other cultural entities and agents/artists of the region. With this framework, the recreational, sports and cultural association of Santo Amaro de Quintã seeks to make its space increasingly multi-functional, so as to be able to respond to various recreational, cultural and also sports offerings, holding yoga, dance and other activity sessions, and is open to hosting others that may be provided to a broad and interested community.
