Multiple Eyes

In an era where screens shape our perception of reality and algorithms dictate our preferences, the works of these artists — blending the sensitive, the symbolic, the ancestral and the spiritual with the popular, the carnivalesque, the magical and the abject — propose an alternative: narration as an intimate, porous and polyphonic practice. Multiple Eyes brings together three artists from different generations who understand narrative practice as a collaborative and political space; and invites the public to face otherness not as a threat, but as a space for learning, reflection and co-creation of knowledge. Challenging singular and binary narratives, reclaiming narrative from control systems and demonstrating how art can open spaces for dialogue, empathy and recognition of different ways of knowing and imagining the present.
