About the event

The Official Portuguese Representation at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia in 2025 now arrives at MAC/CCB. Proposing a critical reflection on the relationships between architecture, landscape and contemporary territory in Portugal, the project takes the idea of "paradise" as a metaphor to think about the present. Between utopia and dystopia, nature and construction, reality and simulation, the exhibition brings together a digital and interactive installation and an atlas of images and texts that explore different ways of inhabiting, transforming and imagining the landscape. Curated by Paula Melâneo, Pedro Bandeira, Luca Martinucci Assistant curators Catarina Raposo, Nuno Cera ◾ Opening Wednesday, November 4th, at the Architecture Center 19:00 – Exhibition opening 20:00 – Vinyl Launch + Performance by Jorge Queijo During the opening, Jorge Queijo, author of the soundscape of Paradise, today., presents a performance inspired by the atmospheres and territories in transformation that are emerging in the installation. ◾ Talk Saturday, November 7th, at 16:00, at the Architecture Center
