About the event

"Haydn wrote a symphony full of surprises. Centuries later, Anna Clyne brought another. For the Portuguese debut of Polish conductor Rafał Kłoczko, "The Sound and the Fury" brings together two national premieres, an Overture by Franciszek Lessel and Clyne's work inspired by Haydn's Symphony No. 60, also featured on the program. To close, and just in time for Halloween, the Orquestra do Algarve performs Boccherini's Symphony No. 6, known as "The House of the Devil"
