War & Peace Workshop

War and Peace, a title kindly borrowed from Leo Tolstoy's novel, is a creation by Cátia Pinheiro and José Nunes, with text developed in collaboration with artist and rapper Capicua, designed for children — but open to all ages. At a time when images of war burst into our lives daily through televisions and smartphones, it becomes urgent to create spaces for shared reflection between children and adults. Starting from the ideas of war and peace, the show offers a close look at how we relate, organize, and inhabit the world. Between intimate and collective conflicts, visible and invisible borders, the question arises: how are conflicts in the world we share built — and why do they persist?
