About the event
On November 22 (Sunday) at 3:30 PM, the Ançã cultural auditorium welcomes the play "UTLCC tenta ensaiar uma peça sobre Augusto Abelaira (e acaba por conversar com ele)", performed by participants of the Universidade dos Tempos Livres do Concelho de Cantanhede (UTLCC). Part of the 5th edition of the "Gente da Nossa Terra" series, dedicated to the writer Augusto Abelaira, the show presents, with great humor and creativity, the story of a group of students who gather to rehearse a tribute to the author but who, among books, photographs, memories and questions, end up turning the rehearsal itself into an unexpected journey through his literary universe. Conceived especially for this edition of the series, the presentation combines theater, projection of historical images of Ançã, readings inspired by Abelaira's work and musical moments by the UTLCC choir, establishing a connection between the writer's legacy and the importance of lifelong learning. More than portraying Augusto Abelaira, the participants are invited to discover a new way of looking at the world, in a show that celebrates literature, creativity and conviviality between generations. An original tribute, where theater and humor meet the words of Augusto Abelaira! Location: Ançã Cultural Auditorium.
