Gente da Nossa Terra - Cultural visit to Torre do Tombo

As part of the 5th edition of the "gente da nossa terra" project dedicated to the writer Augusto Abelaira, a cultural trip to Lisbon dedicated to the life and resistance of the Ançã-born writer Augusto Abelaira will be held on October 29. Departing at 7 am and with the programme in the capital beginning at 10:30 am, this itinerary includes a visit to Torre do Tombo, focusing mainly on the censorship applied to the author's literary works and those of other resisters during the dictatorship. There will also be a stop at the studios and archives of Rádio Televisão Portuguesa (RTP), where his career as head of programming at this television station in the 1970s will be recalled. Arrival in Cantanhede is expected at 9 pm. Registration at the tourist office from October 15. Location: Lisboa.
