Documentary Film "Caminhamos Juntos", by Frankelim Amaral

On November 6th at 9:30 PM, in the auditorium of the municipal library, the Municipality of Cantanhede presents a screening of the documentary film Caminhamos Juntos, directed by Frankelim Amaral. Caminhamos Juntos. How far can the first step take us? It is a documentary that follows seven pilgrims along the 250 kilometers of the Central Portuguese Way, between Porto and Santiago de Compostela. United by the same direction but driven by different reasons, each carries a unique story marked by loss, illness, longing, gratitude, hope or the need to find meaning in life again. With careful cinematography and an intimate narrative, the work leads the viewer on a human journey, where each image reflects a state of mind and each kilometer traveled represents a victory over fears, pain and doubt. This documentary about the Camino de Santiago is a film about the human condition, a tribute to the courage of those who keep walking when everything seems lost; to the strength of those who learn to transform pain into hope and to the certainty that no path is meant to be walked alone.
