25th Anniversary of the Museu da Pedra

On October 20, the Museu da Pedra celebrates 25 years of history, and there is no better way to mark the occasion than with the inauguration of a new exhibition segment in the geology room — "the invisible world of the Jurassic" — and the opening of a temporary exhibition. Throughout its twenty-five years of existence, the Museu da Pedra has played a decisive role in the preservation, research and dissemination of the geological and paleontological heritage of Cantanhede, establishing itself as a space for knowledge, education and appreciation of the territory's identity. Its work has helped bring the community closer to the extraordinary natural legacy that characterizes this region, promoting dialogue between science, culture and society.
