Celebrations of the 25th Anniversary of the Museu da Pedra

Throughout its twenty-five years of existence, the Museu da Pedra of the municipality of Cantanhede has played a decisive role in the preservation, research and promotion of the geological, historical and archaeological heritage of Cantanhede. Its work has helped bring the community closer to the natural legacy that characterizes this region, fostering dialogue between science, culture and society. Through lectures, school activities, the inauguration of a new exhibition segment in the museum's geological room, the opening of a temporary exhibition and the holding of a mineral and fossil fair, the celebrations of this anniversary are a privileged occasion to mark the journey of this space of knowledge, education and appreciation of the territory's identity.
