Cabaret Songs

This program traverses the spirit of cabaret and 20th-century theatrical song, intertwining irony, lyricism, and a direct relationship with the audience. From the refined musical humor of Erik Satie and Lord Berners to the expressionist cabaret of Arnold Schoenberg, passing through the popular intensity of Lili Marleen, the concert alternates historical pieces with contemporary works by Sérgio Azevedo. The Suite de Tangos and the Cabaret Songs introduce a current and plural perspective, establishing a lively dialogue between tradition and modernity.
