DESCRIPTION:Considered one of the great vocalists of contemporary jazz\, Y
oun Sun Nah has built an international career marked by interpretive freed
om and a subtle fusion of jazz\, folk and improvisation. At Misty Fest\, s
he will perform alongside the extraordinary Franco-Serbian pianist Bojan Z
. The musical collaboration between them began three years ago\, following
the release of the album Elles\, in which the singer paid tribute to some
of the artists who marked her career\, including Nina Simone\, Grace Jone
s and Sheila Jordan. Since then\, the project has evolved\, now also incor
porating original songs composed by Youn Sun Nah. Always in search of new
sounds and unafraid to take risks to achieve a truly singular musical expr
ession\, Youn Sun Nah gives herself completely on stage\, providing the au
dience with a unique emotional experience. In Bojan Z\, a true musical adv
enturer who defies any attempt at categorization\, she found her alter ego
. The promise is of a show that is both intimate and vibrant.
