 e themes that run through her work. The exhibition at MAC/CCB traces a pat
 h from her early works in the 1990s to her most recent creations\, reveali
 ng the artist's investigation into facts\, infrastructures\, characters\, 
 and architectures linked to colonisation. Her projects not only comment on
  and update the persistent effects of colonialism but also highlight modes
  of resistance to this reality. Ângela Ferreira is recognised as one of t
 he first artists in Portugal to openly confront and question the country's
