DESCRIPTION:The Da Pele series is a set of sound installations (A Teia da 
 Pele and A Memória da Pele) that emerged as a development of research cen
 tered on the adufe\, initiated and presented at MATSDAY of the Master's in
  Sound Arts and Technologies at ESMAE (Escola Superior de Música e Artes 
 do Espectáculo). Hands complement the adufes. If placed on a relational w
 eb\, a single movement\, a breath\, is enough to create a self-feeding mot
 ion that is hard to stop: a flood of beats and voices that gain strength t
 hrough connection and multiplication. This is the power of the ensemble: t
 he collective and its memory\, materialized in a simple instrument of four
  boards and a skin.
