DESCRIPTION:Di/STRAUSS Technique is a participatory music and dance perfor
 mance designed to stimulate the audience's spirit\, vocal courage\, physic
 al freedom and desire. Inspired by the music of Johann Strauss II\, the 'K
 ing of the Waltz'\, Ivo Dimchev composes ten songs of therapeutic characte
 r and creates playful choreographies that explore the psychophysical well-
 being of the contemporary individual. Themes such as sexual autonomy\, emo
 tional resilience\, financial anxiety\, self-love and divine absurdity are
  approached through music\, movement and interaction with the audience. Th
 e performance unfolds as a collective ritual of joy and irreverence\, cros
 sing queer humor and operatic kitsch. Equipped with cotton bags filled wit
 h ribbons\, fans\, pom-poms and other objects\, spectators become active p
 articipants: they sing\, move\, laugh\, confess and claim their own voice.
