 d with the themes that run through her work. The exhibition at MAC/CCB tra
 ces a path between her early works from the 1990s and her most recent crea
 tions\, revealing the artist's investigation into facts\, infrastructures\
 , characters and architectures linked to colonisation. Her projects not on
 ly comment on and update the persistent effects of colonialism\, but also 
 highlight the modes of resistance to this reality. Ângela Ferreira is rec
 ognised as one of the first artists in Portugal to openly confront and que
