 st form of dance he knew: Moroccan chaabi\, a popular style of music and d
 ance\, played at weddings\, street parties\, and gatherings at home. Ch’
 ttahh combines his personal dance experience with the rhythms\, songs\, an
 d ancient symbols of chaabi. It explores social gestures that carry a long
  history of men challenging gender norms through dance\, poetry\, and musi
 c. Between homage and invention\, humor and conflict\, Ch’ttahh captures
  the energy of the present while looking at the collective past with atten
 tion and care. Through the strong expressiveness of chaabi\, it brings us 
 a dance that is a way of transcending or breaking social rules\, while pre
 serving cultural memory and the possibility of imagining possible futures.
  Show in English and Arabic\, with subtitles in Portuguese and English. On
  November 21st (Saturday)\, there will be a post-show talk.
